The Dance of Life

I haven’t written any poem for the past weeks because my brain has been infected with virus but I’d like to think that my scanning is becoming successful because I am able to write another poem the other day.  I just published it to my website and I am posting a copy here, as well.

Most of the poems I’ve written since the very beginning were reflections of my life and my friends’.  But this year, I want to try and write also about other things to free my mind and let it explore other horizons.  And if you want to get updated, my website at www.delifely.com is updated often than this.

~New Hope, New beginning~

Why do u let your life go adrift?
Be haunted by the ghost of your past.
Why do u let it control your life?
When you know it’s a losing fight.

Why do u ask if God is asleep?
When you know He doesn’t rest.
Why do u let yourself lose hope?
When you know there’ll always be a way.

Why do you apologize for being you?
When you know you are special.
Why quit when your life is on a pedestal?
The ghost of the past should go.

God has not forsaken you.
He has not forgotten about you.
He listens, He watches.
Give it a chance and…
You’ll know He never sleeps.
