The Dance of Life

Summer ends, New season
begins!

For many people
“back-to-school” season is an exciting time of the year. Helena, for one, is ecstatic! She couldn’t wait to go back to school. She’s been counting the days and Mike and I
have been deciding whether she goes back to the same school or a new
school. Well, luckily, we found out that
there’s a school that’s closer to us. Mike and I checked the school out and we liked it. I got to meet and talked to the principal,
too, who gave me a brief history of the school and which I passed on to Mike. So two weeks later, we registered Helena and she had her first day last Tuesday.

First day of school
started with a potluck breakfast for all parents, staff and students; until it
was time for the students to go to their designated classrooms and meet their
teachers and classmates. Today is her 3^rd
day and she’s making good friends. She’s
very excited and having so much fun. It’s so nice to see her happy, I love seeing her with a positive
attitude towards school.

While students are going
back to school, Summer is also waving goodbye. This is a bittersweet time for many of us. Aside from all the school supplies list we
had to shop for, it’s also that time where we start to stuff our kids’ feet
back into proper shoes, clothes, and cupboards for a new season. Summer is one of my favorite seasons but even
if it’s now ending, I am kind of excited for the coming of Fall. Helena and I have started planning crafts
that we can do for Fall, we are looking forward to the leaves turning into
different colors, simply beautiful.
